Gift of the Magpie is a table-top role playing game where you play as woodland creatures who have heard of this star that is placed upon a tree every year during the winter and grants wishes to the humans in the morning.
So the obvious course of action is to steal it.
The rule system for this heist game is based on the Ennie-nominated (for rules) game SCORE by Spencer Campbell. It’s an easy to learn system that uses dice pools to determine success and complications.
There are 4 classes that are each an archetype of different woodland critters which give you different abilities and stats when going into a heist. Design your character, pick your animal and get stealing that star!
